Actor Kevin Spacey, who plays President Frank Underwood on House of Cards, offered his opinion of the 2016 presidential race while he attended the World Economic Forum in Davos, saying Donald Trumpâs campaign reminds him of George Wallaceâs independent campaign in 1968.

There’s a word describing people who take money for doing things that they’re good at even though it does not benefit society in a good way at all
We admire good villains in movies. Heath ledger was great, the bad creatures in LOTR and so forth
His was way over the line and also the film was about the villain. The good guys lost.
Terrible
Do you think the guy on the left got it on with the chick on the right that day?
Perhaps but the woman in the background looks like she wants in on the action too.
KS may be a jerk but he is a very good actor.
Whats the frequency Kevin? :-)
LOL!
I enjoy Spacey as an actor but is another Hollywood dunce when it comes to politics.
I still haven’t seen Spacey’s “House of Cards” but I’ve recently viewed the original British series and it’s sequel “To Play the King”. Excellent.
As a whole, actors are a very dysfunctional community. They all have monstrous egos which they gotta have to get in front of a camera or audience and play somebody they aren’t. It is a very specialized profession in that not just anybody can do it to the highest levels. For instance, there is nobody that would pay to watch me act no matter how much I practiced. But I can build their sets.
Wallace was shot at one of his campaign events in ‘72.
The human brain needs some excapism sometimes so I don’t consider movies a total waste.
Although both bad guys were fictional, Heath was absolutely scifi but ‘se7en’ was a wake up call to me with real examples being ISIS. Spacey’s character was an example of how sick the human mind can become.
Because the good guys lost is why the film went over the line? The premise of the film was what was bad and yes, the villains sometimes win.
I don’t know where Spacey reached, researched or made up to find that character but he played it great.
Kevin Spacey’s criticism will add 5 points to Trump’s poll numbers!
Escapism. The human brain needs it?
That’s some made up idea with no basis no meaning. The need for good literature is different from what you’re talking about. And btw you started it by saying this pig of a man is a great actor. Nothing to do with what you called apism
that says it all.
You never took any psych classes, eh. The discussions always sooner or later lead to movies and why humans like them.
That movie had absolutely no redeeming values. It is practically the only movie I've seen that I refuse to ever watch again. It was just evil.
It was horrible
Had zero literary value
The redeeming value it has was to show how absolutely how sick the human mind can be. In doing that, especially before beheadings in the middle east became almost a daily happening, it accomplished its goal. It was a sick movie and Spacey played the part fabulously, unlike say John Wayne could not have done.
Actor Kevin Spacey....House of Cards.
This means something, I guess.
Well, for me it means not watching House of Cards or any other entertainment featuring Spacey. Darn shame too as one day hoped to watch the series.
Sorry Kevin, go .... and bark at the moon.
