“NonPolitician” Trump is pandering on Ethanol like a McCainesque Conservative-in-campaign-only.

To see the flimflam man operate and to see the unwashed masses lapping it up is remarkable.

If he wins the nomination, God help us, he is unlikely to win the WH, although he will pander to Democrats and will have cred since he has been a big time Dem supporter, and they may be okay with his Republican pretense. Who knows?
The Dems are about as bright as the Repub Trump supporters so anything could happen.

I did read a poll that claimed Trump supporters tended to be college educated. OF COURSE!!!! College indoctrinated by Lib professors. Makes perfect sense. The undoctrinated see through him (although I am college educated it was before the libs were in complete control. Plus I dare anyone to tell me what to think!!!! Including A__H___)

The only war that matters is immigration.

Open borders = no more America.

It’s an existential threat.

It’s build a wall vs. teddy bears on the border.

There’s NO other issue that matters.

Judges, elections, economy.

If we are invaded by the 3rd world, our entire Republic will collapse.

Vote for the person most likely to stop that. It’s the ONLY issue on the ballot.

Several years back it was the Communist and Socialist countries that complained about Americans use of Ethanol. Mainly they considered it a misuse of food product that the U.S could be distributing to ailing nations and in itself was contributing to higher food prices throughout the world.

When I say several years, that could mean as much as a decade or more, perhaps centered around the mid 90’s.

— I have no source but my recollection.

I do believe though that ethanol subsidies have a definite strategic advantage for the country. I just wish it would help more of the small farmers rather than the large agricorps that have been sucking up the heartland farmland for years.

As for me? I don’t buy anything with high fructose corn syrup in it, or as little as possible. Hunts has an excellent Ketchup that is high fructose corn syrup free.

A Trump-follower/Cruz-follower civil war? No, hadn’t really noticed. That stuff doesn’t happen on FR.
