Is Fox News Preparing Proverbial “Kill Shot” Against Trump Campaign?
DC Whispers ^ | 1.24.2016 | DC Whispers

On Thursday, Fox News will be hosting the final GOP presidential debate just days removed from the Iowa Caucus. A growing din of whispers surrounding the impending debate has at least one member of the moderating panel specifically targeting Donald Trump’s demise.

It appears the Trump campaign has already initiated counter measures as Mr. Trump himself called for Fox personality and upcoming debate moderator, Megyn Kelly to be removed from the moderator panel. Trump and Kelly have engaged in an ongoing war of words since Kelly’s first stint at moderating during a GOP debate last fall that had her issuing what many Trump supporters felt to be an unusually aggressive, anti-Trump series of questions at the Republican front-runner.

Trump should have both An online Chat AND a huge rally in Iowa during the debate. And buy the ads that are run during the debate saying, the moderators are not neutral. And because they are unprofessional, I cannot ethically participate.

Kelly thinks this is about her.

Trump would be wise to pass on the debate if she is the moderator, just to show it’s actually NOT ABOUT HER.

He can then have a campaign stop the day after the debate with 10,000 supporters just to highlight the drop in ratings without him at the debate, also demonstrating the insignificance of Megyn Kelly.

In one stroke he would cut Fox News down a few notches. I used to really like Fox News channel, but haven’t been interested in the “interrupters” and “newsreaders” in quite a while (don’t even think of callingl them journalists).

Anyway, there are too many candidates on the stage to make it worth his while; they need to cut it down to Trump and Cruz and only others with higher than 10 percent in a major poll.

Anyone who believes Trump is an amateur, not a politician, or simply a thin skinned bully (well, OK, the last one fits),need only read this article about his unfair treatment:

My response?
First, I've stopped watching FOX's campaign coverage because they've gone about 80% into Trump's pocket. Cruz hatred runs deep & Trump makes for good headlines, good ratings, and a return to pre Obama status quo.
Second, Ms. Megan did fine with her "debate" questions but fell for Trump's "not being fair to me" meme. She stepped in it & let him fix the hook.
Third, The Donald announces that FOX isn't being fair so long as Kelly is on the panel so he might not attend. FOX isn't going to lose the show or anger Trump, so Megan will probably be removed and Trump will put on his debate show again, this time with a fully compliant panel, suitably chastised opponents, and a relieved GOPe.
Finally, the "not a politician" steps into the Iowa caucus with wind at his back; and you'd better believe that he will have the house stacked when those votes are cast, he hasn't missed a step so far and isn't apt to start now.

Or Trump could stay home and live tweet the debate. That way he controls the agenda. He can critique Megyn’s performance also. That would be fun.

Megyn is trying to be the next Barbara Walters.

Not going to ever happen.

Barbara Walters had, and still has, INTEGRITY.

You want him to just sit there and take the abuse ? That’s why we lose constantly . I don’t care how he deals with it , the important thing is that he deals with it effectively , which he does . Fox is a globalist open- borders news organ ... they are scum just like the rest of the MSM

If Trump walked away from this last debate he’d still win the Drudge poll.

Fox announced that Kelly will be on the debate panel.

So your thesis is wrong.

Meygan Kelly is a Liberal Democrat posing as a Republican. Trump is spot one when calling our her bias. Why should she be moderating a Republican debate.

There is no doubt Hannity is a Conservative Republican. Hannity should be a moderator and it is disgusting that the Liberal Media is allowed to promote Kelly, a Hillary Clinton supporter, as a moderator. If you polled republicans on who they would want to moderate the next debate, everyone would choose Hannity over Kelly. Yet Liberal biased talk show host Kelly gets to moderate a 2nd debate? They need to dread the wealth.

Let Hannity or Greta moderate. Kelly hates Trump, so why does she get to moderate? That is why everyone is so irate that Kelly is getting away with everything. She is a liberal posing as a conservative and we hate it. Bring on Hannity instead.

I doubt that “they” would choose the hated Fox to be the killer network. Also, this site advertises Ulsterman book, it may be a bit conspiritorial in nature. Fergusson as we have known him has been an American exceptionalist I believe, although he’s British. While drunk he opined at some conference that homosexuals had little regard for the future because they have no offspring, which I think is too un-PC even for Trump. He did apologize, but apparently did not lose his tenure at Harvard.

Agree. Trump has always been 2 steps ahead of the biased liberal media.

He is focused on Iowa voters for the next 8 days. A biased Fox debate loaded with trolls who are ready to boo Trump when he speaks needs to be shunned for the losers they are.

So we can have a Canadian president?

The willful ignorance on this subject evident on FR is staggering.

Skipping the debates would probably boost his poll numbers. (Everything he does boosts his numbers.) He would be seen as not being controlled by the media or RNC.
