Fair enough. Mitt was a liberal.
But based on his own statements and actions, Trump has to be seen as at least equally liberal. Wealth taxes, single-payer health care, being “very pro-choice” and supporting Schumer, Clinton, DiBlasio, etc. That’s all pretty far-left stuff.
And Trump doesn’t have the excuse that he had to say that stuff and do those things to get elected. He wasn’t running for anything - he just volunteered all those positions.

There’s a reason they call times of elections “silly seasons”.....but I generally like to see the most obnoxious posts as people just venting their frustrations....some actually have something to say along with that.
Heck I have my own frustrations because I simply can’t get my head around ‘why’ people would seriously consider Trump over Cruz......there’s more at stake here short and long term and the guy has a distinct history of supporting Dmocratic issues. That’s not going to change if he’s elected no matter what he’s thundering from his lips now as I see it.

And he’s a helluva fighter. Doubt he will lay down and quit like McCain and Romney did near the end of their general campaigns.
I’d love to see constitutional conservative Cruz battling to the top and becoming president, but if Trump becomes the nominee, I’ll happily fight the good fight against the godless commies with him—with gusto.
