I agree that it looks like political convenience.

I’ve been pro-life for decades and my position is a matter of principle.

My analogy, yes it exists but it exists in such a way now that its not conducive to the general welfare or to the right to life of the unborn child.

We must rectify that situation to change the public attitude about abortion and bring it on a course to ultimate extinction.

All this without touching a woman’s autonomy over her body.

Prolife is not the trendy, popular position. I thought he was some sort of populist with no positions of his own.
