Writer doesn’t appear to have a clear understanding of the law. You examine the triers of fact to see if they’ve been tainted, not the source of the statements.
I almost didn't post this for just that reason, but its such a ridiculous story! His lawyers afraid he can't get a fair trial in his court martial... he's a deserter! Others died looking for him, and Obama traded 5 Gitmo terrorists to get him back. He deserves the death penalty, but we'll have to settle for life!
