Nice summary of today's show. There was a time when Rush would tell his audience that conservatism wins every time it's tried but now when it matters so much he wants to dance around on the head of a pin.

Oh thank you very much! That is very kind of you to say! Oh yeah, I remember when Rush used to say that. You know, I can’t remember hearing him say stuff like that for at least a week now. It really makes me worried.

I read every book, every column, watched every debate Ann Coulter had. I loved her! And I was crushed when she rejected Christian Conservatism by endorsing leftists.

I listened to every speech and watched every episode of Sarah Palin’s Alaska program. I adored her! And I was devastated when she rejected Christian Conservatism by endorsing a leftist. And on the very stage he promised to ramp up higher than even Obama has ever done the exact same crony capitalism subsidies she had been specifically fighting against for years. All while a real Christian Conservative, who’s beliefs she supposedly shared and who has put forth a policy that will end subsidies across the board, is in the race.

Rush is a part of my daily routine. The day wouldn’t feel right without him. I don’t know what I will do. All the great Christian Conservative lights going out, and me left in the dark. But it is impossible for me to reject Christian Conservatism. You don’t just *have* beliefs, you can’t cut them off like an arm or give them up like fasting, they are *who* you are. Only those who never were could “betray” them.

Rush probably won’t admit on air one way or the other, but if he won’t say that Trump isn’t conservative, and if he won’t admit that conservatism matters, it just makes it obvious.
