And what’s even stranger is many of Trump supporters here are practically single issue, DEPORT THE ILLEGALS AND CLOSE THE BORDER. Yet Trump’s actual position doesn’t phase them... It really is the twilight zone here.

Very, very naive. None of the other “issues” matter if we don’t stop the invasion. Build the wall says Trump. Why is that so hard to understand?

Still better than Cruz’s position, which is to not deport them at all. It seems to me that you’re trying to say that neither candidate will do anything at all.

In which case I might as well vote for the more entertaining candidate so at least I can giggle as the country dies.

What these Trump supporters fail to realize is that they are actually the minority, here on FR.

Likewise, we Cruz supporters hardly ever realize that we are the majority, but we are.

Out of 1,030 individuals tallied over the past, I'd say two months during random browsing of Cruz/Trump threads, more than 54% either prefer Cruz (most of that 54%) and/or reject Trump and Cruz. A little less than 46% have Trump as their first choice -- the Trump supporters are the minority here in actual numbers.

However, in frequency of posts, that minority is loud and aggressive and masks the actual sentiment of conservatives here.
