Back in 2011 at a Tea Party Rally, when asked about George Soros, did Donald Trump really say:
Forget Soros. Leave him alone. He's got enough problems. What about Soros, let's talk about somebody else, sweetheartAnswer: yes.
I saw the quote attributed to Trump, but with no details. I wondered if it were true.
It's true. The audio is at the link. Glenn Beck played it in 2011.
Forget Satan. Leave him alone. Heâs got enough problems...What with convincing people that man made Global Warming is real and trying to get Bernie to win...
“That sounded (to me) more like a dismissal than a defense.”
Leave him alone?
So you refuse the investors with whom you disagree politically? What do your other stockholders think about that?
Trump is owned by Soros.
Trump took millions from Soros and will do whatever Soros wants.
:)
Did you know Trump is Smart?
Because the Trump He tells me so....
I interpreted that as "ignore him". I could be wrong; wouldn't be the first time.
>>I also believe he will start to abandon many of the conservative promises.
That’s the risk we take with anyone. Even the most principled guy can decide to govern with pragmatism so that he can get something done. We call them RINOS and we hate them for good reason. But the fact is that many of these RINOS are just poor leaders, so they have to compromise to do anything. We’ve seen it time and time again.
The only guy who had to gravitas to lead without compromise was Reagan. I support Trump for his ability to lead and to win in deals where everyone got something, but he got the most. I just can’t see Cruz being able to move a nation that is polarized to the extent that we are and the polarization is almost a perfect 50/50.
The 50/50 split is the result of 25 years of careful partisanship by the Uniparty to insure that neither party ever gains enough power to appear strong enough to accomplish anything. The Dems can promise socialism and fail to deliver just as the GOP can promise laissaiz-faire capitalism and fail to deliver. It makes it impossible for a principled outsider who lacks the leadership skills to move mountains to accomplish anything.
I’m not blindly following Trump for his cool hat. This is my well thought out position on the subject.
We’re screwed as a nation. The Progs have their fingers in everything so everyone who is wealthy and powerful can be found to be connected to something Proggie. I think the Goldman-Sachs stuff is unimportant. I haven’t searched out the Soros-Trump connection enough to evaluate it. It’s a new development in this election.
If it’s true, then we might as well just vote for Bernie and get this socialism thing rolling so EVERYONE can start getting the free stuff. I am sick of working to pay for it for others. If we have to destroy every front-runner again until we are left with the the Romney nomination again, then I give up.
“So you refuse the investors with whom you disagree politically? What do your other stockholders think about that?”
So am I Wall Street cronyist for having a mortgage from Chase and an account with Citibank? Should I only get loans from mom and pop banks based in the midwest?
I STILL have a hard time believing that’s a BOY!!
Is Trump Bloomberg with a blue collar mouth? We’ll find out soon enough.
Do you think Soros and his influence and machinations is a topic that should be dismissed or ignored?
At best it sounds like, I don’t want to talk about Soros.
“Is Trump Bloomberg with a blue collar mouth? Weâll find out soon enough.”
Maybe not a bad analogy.
Trump has said many times how much he loves Bloomberg.
“So you refuse the investors with whom you disagree politically? What do your other stockholders think about that?”
This presupposes that Trump could get no other investors.
I doubt that is the case. If so, that would make Trump even more beholden to Soros.
You are most welcome!
With a candidate like Sanders (an outright, self-professed socialist) and the Republican party moving to the left, it looks like the US is becoming Germany, where the “right” is really liberal “left” like Merkel and the “left” is “far-left” i.e. communist or socialist.
You forgot Bloomberg, Schumer and Rahm Emanuel..
I hope I am wrong, but if Trump is sworn in, I fear that within a year the Trump-ettes will be whining that they were betrayed. The man has zero record of sticking with previously stated positions. More flip-flopping that the other 12 candidates combined.
A boy?
Are you sure?
I’ve seen that internet meme for years. Never knew quite where it came from or the meaning of it. I just knew when to use it.
But that’s a boy? Yeesh!
OK, I did my homework.
Chris Crocker is a queer porn star.

Double Yeesh!
