Wow...one learns something new everyday.
My last grocery trip included the purchase of 24 tubs of Chobani yogurt. It is a staple in my diet. I easily spend hundreds of dollars annually on Chobani yogurt.
That practice just came to a screeching halt after reading this account. What an eye-opener of a story.

Wow, that’s a lot of yogurt. How do you use it? Are you freezing what you don’t use?

I eat a fair amount of yogurt and my main criterion for whether to try a certain brand is whether it contains pectin, which to me gives it an unnaturally smooth texture. I can’t remeber if Chobani has pectin or not, but regardless I will probably avoid it now.

Make your own yogurt. Its easy, and you control what goes into it.
