This month, Lena Dunham, wearing a red, white and blue sweater dress with the word âHillaryâ emblazoned across the chest, told voters how Hillary Clinton had overcome sexism in her political career.
âThe way she has been treated is just more evidence of the fact that our country has so much hatred toward successful women,â Ms. Dunham, the creator and star of the HBO series âGirls,â said at a Clinton campaign event in Manchester, N.H.
But at an Upper East Side dinner party a few months back, Ms. Dunham expressed more conflicted feelings. She told the guests, at the Park Avenue apartment of Richard Plepler, the chief executive of HBO, that she was disturbed by how, in the 1990s, the Clintons and their allies discredited women who said they had had sexual encounters with or been sexually assaulted by former President Bill Clinton.

True. And a lot of the Hillary exposé of the past year has come from the NYTs.
Wow!
The NYT giving up on Hillary? That is YUGE!
They are setting her up to be replaced by Biden.
Thank you!
Can you imagine that fat, noxious pig tearing through the mashed potatoes at a dinner party?
They are setting her up to be replaced by Biden.
Bingo! They don’t want Sanders and it’s looking like Sanders will defeat Hillary. Warren has no chance so they’re moving to Biden to beat Trump. Out of all of them he’s the only likeable one in the bunch. The way they see it.
Who are you talking about - Hillary or Lena?
Biden is such a cypher. Wouldn’t surprise me if the sheeple on the Left voted him in. God help our country.....PLEASE!
Then let me be the first to say,
THANK YOU, DONALD TRUMP!
This would not be happening if he had not rope-a-doped her into that exchange over the War on Women.
If nothing else he deserves credit for banishing the Clintons finally.
To prevent duplication, please do not alter the published headline, thx.
Yes.
I'm thinking the sudden decision to go after General Petraeus yet again might be the Obama Administration's way of telling Hillary: "you're next!" It would be very difficult to justify additional punishment for Petraeus four years after the matter was seemingly settled, at at the same time, give Hillary a pass for much more serious violations of national security. Maybe Hillary is being told behind the scenes she needs to have a "health crisis" that will force her to drop out of the race.
>>True. And a lot of the Hillary...
STOP REFERRING TO HER AS HILLARY !!! Call her Mrs. Clinton instead if you must be polite.
Sorry bout that.
I can see this country electing a retard. It’s mostly retards who vote for democrats so they can relate.
And he’s another who’ll say “Islam is a peaceful religion.” While in Tehran there’s a mural of the Marines raising the flag over Mt. Surabachi but the “mountain” is a pile of dead muslims. So, we’re not at war with Islam. But Islam is at war with us.
“While in Tehran thereâs a mural of the Marines raising the flag over Mt. Surabachi but the âmountainâ is a pile of dead muslims.”
Ironically, in Japan Islam is virtually nonexistent.....
Sanders can and likely will win Iowa and New Hampshire. But after that? Unlikely he makes it close to 50% of the regular delegates.
Then consider that Hillary has a lock on the Superdelegates, which are about 20% of total delegates. So Sanders needs to win well more than half of the regular delegates.
Bernie as the nominee isn’t happening. Biden is only happening if Hillary gets indicted or drops out for other reasons (like health)
What Sanders can do is embarass Hillary and expose weakness in her support. Thats why the fight is getting increasingly nasty: keeping Dems on the Hillary plantation.
There’s a Vox article on how straight, white, Progressive men are moving to Sanders thats starting blue-on-blue fights on the Liberal side of social media (at least my little window onto it). Hillary supporters trying to browbeat Sanders supporters by doing the SJW bully routine on them. It’s creating a lot of strife between the camps. If it breaks out the most maligned but also pretty indespenseable segment of the Dem base may walk elsewhere (like to their couches) in November.
