Reminds me of COLOSSUS at Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA.

It’s a “myth” the USA is financially sound. Isn’t that what Obama said in SOTU?

I got out a while back. Probably a bit too soon, but I am lousy at catching falling knives.

Same here. Granted, I'm in intermediate/long bonds, but haven't tanked all that much, especially considering dividend payments.

Computers are buying and selling on days like this. It’s high volume and high speed. Humans need not participate.

Are you talking about buy and sell orders placed?

High frequency trades using computer programs mean individual investors are on the outside looking in. The computers can execute buy and sell orders in millionths of a second.

Who’s minding the computers??

“Investors are worried that low oil prices mean there’s not that much demand for fuel. That would be a sign that growth in the global economy is slowing down. Stocks in the U.S. started sharply lower, following widespread selling overseas, and at one point the Dow Jones industrial average fell as much as 565 points”

Oil is probably still higher than it should be and the only reason it has been much higher in the past is the Oil Cartel.

My guess is the Cartel is falling apart along with the middle east in general.
