RE: I doubt most Trumpkin Tea Partiers have ditched their principles to support Trump. But the fact remains Trump has sneered at many Tea Party principles. So why do so many Tea Partiers support Trump knowing his past? (or not knowing his past.)
I’ve spoken to my conservative friends and it boils down to the following reasons:
1) He has the resources to BEAT Hillary ( as if Hillary is really going to be the Democrat nominee ).
2) He has the best name recognition.
3) Despite his past stances and flip-flops, THIS TIME HE MEANS IT.
He's good at one thing. Self-promotion.
