Are you implying that the BET Awards are insufficient? That sounds racist to me. lol

Part of the problem IMHO is that Hollywood, despite pretending to be so Liberal, always seems to cast black actors in stereotypical roles (rappers, street thugs, pro athletes, and oppressed victims in the pre-Civil Rights South).

You rarely see anything more challenging and substantial for them in a dramatic role. For example, Macbeth, with an all-Black cast.

It’s a shame because there are a lot of Black actors out there with tremendous stage presence.
