"I don't think Ted Cruz has a great chance, to be honest with you," Trump told ABCNews Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos in an interview on "This Week" Sunday. "Look, the truth is, he's a nasty guy. He was so nice to me. I mean, I knew it. I was watching. I kept saying, 'Come on Ted. Let's go, okay.' But he's a nasty guy. Nobody likes him. Nobody in Congress likes him. Nobody likes him anywhere once they get to know him. He's a very -- he's got an edge that's not good. You can't make deals with people like that and it's not a good thing. It's not a good thing for the country. Very nasty guy."

Campaigning Saturday afternoon in South Carolina, Cruz did not hold back when it came to his "friend" Donald Trump.
"It seems Donald has a lot of nervous energy -- it seems Donald doesn't react well when he's going down in the polls," Cruz said. "You know in terms of a commander in chief, I think we ought to have someone who isn't springing out of bed and tweeting in response to the latest polls. Stable and steady and a calm hand to keep this country safe." Trump sent a series of tweets aimed at Cruz early Saturday morning.

Stephanopoulos told Trump that some legal scholars have suggested Trump himself would have standing to sue Cruz.
"Oh, that's an interesting case. Wow, that sounds like a very good case. I'd do the public a big favor," Trump responded, but he would not say whether he'd actually file such a suit. "It's a good idea-- maybe I'll talk to them about it. I'd like to talk to Ted about it, see how he'd feel about it. 'Cause you know, when I file suits, I file real suits."

No need for Trump to point it out. Anyone who watched the debates saw what an angry guy Cruz was and it affected his performance in a negative. Cruz needs to regain his composure before it is too late.
So the story now is that Ted got a sweetheart deal from Goldman ....or are you just uninformed
A family photo. How cute.
Nobody likes him. Nobody in Congress likes him. Nobody likes him anywhere once they get to know him.

A lot of people like Ted, but he does have the right enemies. I think Trump’s technique of attacking people isn’t going to work this time.
It is already working.
People are talking about what is not generally known about Senator Cruz. And what he probably doesn’t really want to discuss.
Trump is an open book and people trust him. Ted will come out of this damaged.
“Bill, do you touch them like this?”
He must think he appeals to people with the maturity of a third grader.
How about when Trump compared Carson — CARSON — to a child molestor? Or when he implied Scalia was racist.
Yea I know anytime someone says my mom was born in Kansas City it gets under my skin.
Oh Trump.... Showing your real personality.
All this, “He’s a good guy!” stuff is great until you’ve been poked. Then it suddenly reverts back to grade school attacks. “Nobody likes you! Blah Blah Blah”. Funny the first few times but annoying now. Just like the grade school bully.
One very positive thing with trump, he sure is consistent. You absolutely know what he is going to do next.
Said the pot to the kettle . . .
And THIS is where the rubber meets the road. The Cruzes act entitled while Trump works his behind off.
Ted Cruz is a nice guy.
Ted Cruz is a nasty guy.
We are at war with Oceania. We’ve always been at war with Oceania.
We are at war with Eurasia. We’ve always been at war with Eurasia.
Not exactly, Cruz has risen on the strength of his positions. That Trump helped bring to the forefront some important issues in the public consciousness is a good thing, but that happening is hardly coat aims.
Nobody’s perfect including Trump. I was leaning toward Trump, but after these latest attacks I’m starting to lean toward Cruz. I’d prefer his “positives vs. negatives” instead of Trump’s.
“Is that the Cruz/Goldman Sachs Christmas photo?”
I bet you wish your spouse worked at Goldman Sachs. Really. You Trump people attacks on Cruz sound just like liberal attacks.
Trump is just giving us a preview of what will happen to Ted against the Democrats. I like Ted and have greatly appreciated his quixotic adventures in the Senate, but when it comes to the national stage he has a distinct likability problem.
Just another New Yorker bitching about something.
“I bet you wish your spouse worked at Goldman Sachs.”
No, I do not. Never have. Never will.
Goldman is an influence buying and peddling controller of both parties... Ted included.
