First, I will say that I also have a problem with Trump’s
past just as you and others do. What people including Rush
like about Trump is what he says now and the way that he
says it. They give Trump the total benefit of the doubt and
you don’t. Fine, but to say that Limbaugh’s show is a
three hour infomercial for Trump is pure hyperbole and
factually wrong, as well. Limbaugh has called out Trump for
comments he has made about Cruz. He spends most of his
time exposing stupid liberal tricks, not hacking for one
primary candidate. Is a three hour unpaid infomercial for
a primary candidate in his best business interest? You
tell me.
I don’t lump Cruz and Trump together because they are, in
fact, both conservative. To the extent that they are both
talking the talk I do lump them together. You believe
Trump is lieing and you could be right. But you could
also be wrong.
In fact, if Trump became president I suspect he might open
the WH door to libtards in too many areas. But if my
November choice is Trump or Clinton I will vote for
Trump. Go ahead and stay home, Catherine. At least with
Trump as president people like Limbaugh may hold a little
influence.
I am not “fangirling” anyone but unlike you I understand
what Limbaugh is and isn’t about. To me Rush is A source,
not THE source.
Talking means zero. Cruz has the record to back up what he says. Trump is a lifelong liberal who suddenly becamse “conservative” seven months ago, but since then continues to make slips of the tongue which reveal his core liberalism. Why would I trust him? There’s absolutely no reason to do so.
Trump has been caught in lie after lie, flip-flop after flip-flop. To deny this is simply to deny reality.
Stay home? If there are any conservatives on the ticket, I’ll vote for them. But I won’t dirty myself with a vote for a progressive sleaze like Trump.
