This is the guy who helped bring about the abandonment of S Vietnam to the communist north. He helped write the Pentagon Papers, then stole them and passed on his own work to the media as if it was gospel. More recently he set up an organization to encourage the leaking of national security information by compartmentalized government employees who are in no position to see the big picture or know what operations are in play...not through the chain of command, not through the duly elected representatives of the people, but bypassing their lawful superiors to go instead to an unelected and unvetted media that is as corrupt as any congressman ever was. This is not whistleblowing, it is lawlessness.

Also part of Ellsberg’s fellow travelers, she went berzerk when she obtained someone else’s communication/memo requesting aid in surveillance of several nations on the UN security council. Whether the content was real or not is immaterial, as it was classified. Instead of taking her concerns to superiors to handle it, she took the classified document out of a secure location... to her house and kept it over the weekend, after which she passed it to a friend who knew some journalists. She is not a whistleblower, she is a politically motivated thief.

A nutty member of Ray McGovern’s clique VIPS; Larry threatened a Freeper some years ago while involved in the VIPS effort to hide Iraq’s efforts to secure a post sanction source of uranium from a country where Libya was able to obtain some, a country whose uranium was supposedly kept secure by a French corporation that was also involved in the Oil For Food Voucher bribes of Saddam Hussein, as we.ll as a number of other corruption scandals.
Oh yeah, he’s also one of the folks who helped gin up the idiotic birther thing in Hawaii.

Wilson was married twice, once to an alleged French intel agent deeply involved with the crook Omar Bongo of Gabon and then to the “super dooper deep cover spy” Valerie Plame who chose her hubby to go on an vacation to Niger to ferret out illicit trade from the hotel pool with glass of sweet tea in hand. That guy whose chatter to the press about his adventure didn’t match his sworn testimony. Yeah, that Valerie, whose case resulted in a witch hunt for Cheney through the setup and framing of Cheney’s aide Scooter Libby for an offense - releasing the identity of the legendary Valerie Turned out it was Armitage, aide of the Obama-voting Colin Powell, who has apparently had a chip on his shoulder over criticism that he should have let Schwarzkopf finish off the Iraqi Republican Guard.

“Bob’s” stand-down order was bad enough. But the real betrayal was the order - which could only have come from Obama - to prevent American forces from being scrambled to defend those who were under fire at the CIA Annex.
I strongly recommend Sibel Edmonds’ book, as I said before—detailing extreme corruption inside the FBI including an extensive espionage cell with ties to Turkey and to many U.S. public officials. It is really quite disturbing. You do not seem to have read it.
We lost 55,000 Americans in Vietnam, and gained nothing. Not sure how many more you wanted to sacrifice, as we were nowhere close to victory at any time.
BTW, I am not at all convinced Obama was born in Hawaii, so your bringing that up as part of your attack on Edmonds (kind of a stretch in any event) does not add weight to your argument.
