Here we go again with the most. My Aunt has a Chinese friend who is a tailor. They chat, my aunt brings her eggplant and her friend just fixed her new coat for her.
People are people and when they are not being attacked they can form connections. I resist labels and boxes even though that’s hard sometimes. You can’t build coalitions or bridges that way. My pragmatism again. I make an exception for liberals, they are beyond the pale, unless they begin to see the light. The damage they have done to the American way of life is horrendous.
Yet they are who dominate the city in so many ways.
I was more referring to the average Chinese person on the street. They wouldn't stop to help you if you were lying there bleeding to death. This is much less true for those of them more assimilated into the culture.
