New folks come in, they become Americans there. My Aunt has Hasidim neighbors and Italian neighbors and Chinese neighbors. The two churches nearby manage to fill halls every Tuesday & Wednesday with senior citizens for bingo and most of those are Italians although all are welcome. The neighborhood changes but it remains the same, families growing up and wanting to make a better world for their children.

I understand that. But very few Chinese people would even consider helping someone in trouble out. They basically stick to themselves. Most couldn't care less about their neighbors, at least the non-Chinese ones. Hasidics, on the other hand, are far more likely to be there if you need help. Then, most of them are politically and socially conservative. Very different from their liberal and leftist counterparts.
