i may lose some friends on the board for saying this, but he’s so easy to see through, I dont get it.

Do i think he would do some things right?

absolutely. Would restore the army and stop using it as a social experiment, at least be a lot better than this guy.

i think he would come down hard on illegals.

i think he would get business thriving again.

I also think he will EXPAND government, appoint liberal SCOTUS justices, back Planned Parenthood, not fight the gay transgender agenda, and basically be another FDR.

do a few very good things but be very liberal in all else.

was very turned off by the Cruz NY comment. It’s divisive talk, pitting state against state. we all live under the same roof,

i’m from NYC and all of my close friends and I are conservative. Very conservative.

staten island is a PART of NYC and is ultra conservative.

the two loans that ted didn’t report bothered me too.

getting millions from gay businessmen, eh, they knew where he stood on the issue and donated anyway. it’s not like he had an orgy with them.

i dont think either men are bad men. i’m just trying to figure out who the real conservative, if either, is.

the TPP and Iran votes and h1b issues dont reflect conservationism for Cruz. Bashing a state where he’s raked in a FORTUNE is sleazy and i thought better of him.

trump has no voting record and has changed parties five times and made hundreds of liberal, as well as conservative, statements in his past.

so who knows?

The problem will be fighting the liberal acts with his base. They`ll never acknowledge that they`re liberal acts and defend their guy to the exclusion of all else. If you`re right, kiss the SCOTUS good bye! With that, the 2nd Amendment, and with that, say hello to CWII.

Some of the gun rights you enjoy right now are a direct result of one man - Ted Cruz.

Trump and his business dealings including buying politicians (which is illegal) haven’t even begun to be vetted. That will come out with great fury after he’s nominated. Do you really believe that will go well? Talk about entangled loans, payoffs, etc...

Cruz has a relatively simple past so it’s easy to explore and is why you know about his loans, etc.

Do you really believe Cruz didn’t learn his lesson on illegal immigration and the rage out there? It is very unlikely he’ll drop the ball on that front at this point.

So relative to Trump what is it you believe Cruz will drop the ball on? Just returning to some semblance of constitutional limits (EPA, OSHA, Etc.) will do wonders for business.

You list a few things Cruz “doesn’t show conservatism for” but that list is far shorter than Trump’s list. I’d argue that those things you list are very minor compared to Trumps deviations.

Cruz has a history of fighting for conservative principles. Trump none before preparing for this election.

If you chose Trump, it is only on faith.

at first he NYC comment bothered me but after some thought i realized i’m not enamored with the government here and reqlly thats a large part of what people see when they look at NY. City and even state. We’ve had corrupt government for decades and only now was Silver busted.
As to the loans only the very rich don’t take out loans to run for office and i know i don’t want only the very rich to be in office. We have enough of an oligarchy already.
nice weather past few days!

I’m beginning to think neither is.
