All I'm doing is starting with who is eligible based upon what I learned in 5th or 6th grade and verified in life and in the study of our history.

I start with who is eligible, then I go from there.

As to what was done to "the negro" in the first American compromise for commerce they believed was necessary to seal the deal and form a nation?

I've come to see that failed test as the reason for the prophetic, imho, crack in the Liberty Bell.

And that Bell is still cracked, too, thanks to crappy repair job that didn't fix the problem, but rather fixed that sad legacy problem into place.

Oh well...live and learn, I guess. Maybe we'll get that test question right soon. It's always the right time to live up to your stated ideals instead of down to the ways of the world.

Ultimately, living by the world's worldly ways is the condition that leads us to the final chapter of our story and its ending, IIRC.

As I see it, in order for the world in the last chapter of our story to come about, we first have to get rid of the "Fathers" in all aspects.

Once you do that, once daddy's out of the house for good, then the final authority is gone, too! Then we kids can do what we want and justify it how we want, good, bad or whatever. We're free of authority and off we go, redefining the world in our image!

For example, in the NBC argument, we once again have to have an authority tell us again what we once used to know as a self evident truth. Same for a lot of once self-evident truths, such as gay marriage to name but one.

That's all a part of who we are in these Fatherless times. We don't follow authority in these days; we get around it or redefine it if it's in our way.

Honor our highest ideals? Nope. "It's easier to get forgiven than it is to get permission."

Fathers are important and we're the rich kids who inherited everything but dad.

We need a strong Father. I think that's the subliminal part of Trump's appeal, for men and women alike.

In this world the world is creating, there are a lot of people who have a Father-sized hole in them.

Not good. Fathers are important. No wonder things are so messed up.

I don’t have the answer on the NBC issue. I tend to think Cruz is eligible, but I don’t know that for certain. It does need to be settled. I don’t know how he can do that.

I don’t understand how you, and so many others, can put so much faith in Trump only based on what he says - and says only relatively recently.

He hasn’t actually done anything that I know of to furthered the conservative or even Republican cause prior to his running for President.

He was praising de Blasio on how he thought he’d make a good mayor shortly after he got elected which wasn’t very long ago. People here say well he does business in the city and has too. So to further expand his wealth he praises a man who is essentially a communist that will make many peoples lives much worse. I can’t accept that. And there’s a long list of other examples.

He’s a master self promoter. He’s constantly promoting himself. He wants Presidency. And he’s well on his way to making the deal. But to what end.

I’ve been down this road before with Schwarzenegger vs. Tom McClintock in California. The “govenator” said all the right things calling his opponents “girlymen”, etc. People loved it. Tom McClintock was true conservative who had a plan - but he couldn’t get past the govenator. This was right after the Democrat governor had been recalled. Almost any Republican could have won. The govenator had no history of conservative principles but claimed them as his own. When he won he caved out of the gate. Buckled to the unions, raised taxes and started numerous “green” projects to save the planet. Just what California needed...

We’ve had 8 years plus of moral and economic ruin. I don’t know if we can take another 4 years.
