Although Mark Levin said yesterday he would happily vote for Trump if Trump is the nominee, the respected and intelligent Mark Levin -- a man who clearly loves America and is committed to traditional American values -- joins a significant group of conservative talkshow hosts (such as Dennis Prager who is also well-respected and who also defends traditional American Judeo-Christian values and the Constitution) and conservative commentators who are clearly uncomfortable with a non-professional politician running for national office. And these people always have thoughtful reasons for thinking so.

But a non-politician such as Donald Trump running for president is precisely what the Founders had in mind as they debated Article II of the Constitution. That is, a citizen -- a farmer like Washington; a lawyer like Adams; and architect like Jefferson; and many of the earliest presidentis -- would be elected, hold office for a few years, then go back to being a citizen ... just like what Donald Trump plans to do.

Well said.   And congratulate yourself for making it through the flamethrowers :- )   We need to keep our eyes on the ball.   If a competent anti-establishment candidate wins the general election, the FReeper agenda marches ahead. Personally, I want a President who has demonstrated leadership and success managing a large organization. Even if Jesus Christ returned to Earth tomorrow, I'm sorry, but I would honestly turn him down as President. What last week showed is that both Cruz and Trump are opportunists.   Nobody is the perfect conservative, so Republicans must choose who they best believe can slay the Hillary beast and restore the country. So it's Caesar vs. Senator Cicero.  And I choose Caesar because under his leadership the Roman legions defeated Vercingetorix and won the Gallic Wars.

Those guys never even heard of things like "Clinton Global Initiative." Harry Truman bless his soul earned $25,000.00 a year as President, he went home, refused Secret service protection and lived and died in his own home. We have came a long way baby.
