I can see right off the bat that the amount of money in question is very modest considering the numbers usually connected to financing a Senate race in the second most populous state in the nation. Now watch the whole MSM keep repeating this nothing story ad nauseum.
The Slimes, possibly at the beckoning of someone big in the GOP establishment, is seeking out any little wart on Cruz to publicize, now that the primaries are coming up in two weeks. It merely shows that Cruz is an unabashed conservative candidate, especially tough on illegal immigration, whom both the GOPe and the 'Rats fear and are doing everything they can to knock out of the race ASAP.
In this instance the Times did provide fact.
