There have been numerous other ‘hints’ that the GOP establishment, in spite of the recent remarks of Priebus and Haley, is starting to accept the idea of a Trump nomination.

IIRC, even J Bush said at the recent debate that ‘the party needs to coalesce around the primary winner, regardless of which candidate it is, and he intends to support the nominee.’

When a party has a potential nominee who seems to be set to win most of the Electoral Votes, they would be even more stupid than usual to fight AGAINST that candidate.

Trump is bringing a ‘bigger tent’ of support that the GOP has been claiming for years that they want.
