Cruz didn’t commit those abuses. The liberal NY politicians did. Those who were abused would prefer the apologies be made by NY politicians, not by some out-of-state desperate candidate who is trying to score cheap political points off of their misery.

Cruz didn’t apologize for his debate insult - to the state and the city.
He only half apologized for Cruz’s perception of the city and what Cruz thinks is wrong with it’s people’s choice of leaders and city. there is a difference.
Cruz’s “apology” was a sanctimonious statement of his own beliefs/views, NOT a true apology. You apologize for what you do wrong, not because you feel bad for others - that’s selfish puffed shirt baloney!
It’s more insult to those he already insulted. Does he really mean to keep pushing people away from him? It’s not like he has broad appeal to begin with! I wanted to like him but he’s too fake conservative and self absorbed - as evidenced by some he takes donations from at meetings and this non”apology” to some, when he initially insulted a whole state!
