That isn’t the point and you know it.

So in your world, private property goes to the highest bidder whether the owner wants to sell it or not as long as it is fair market value, is that it? Really?

Is the Keystone pipeline government property or private? It' is private. Eminent domain was/is being used to acquire the land for it.

Well, it IS “private” but it will be for “public use”. The private owner will be required to make it available to ALL qualified customers. It is sort of like private electrical lines owned by private investors but meant for PUBLIC USE.

Check the constitution...it says “PUBLIC USE” and does not say for POLICALLY CONNECTED DEVELOPERS TO ENRICH THEMSELVES.

The Keystone pipline should not be using eminent domain to take private property. It is Kelo that opened that door.
