The cover is stupid. That said, Trump will gain in the polls again, and likely take New York too, and that would be a huge improvement for NY. I’m still not sure if Trump will take Cruz all the way with him. Some things need to be sorted out, and quickly.

Any general/flag officer that's more than four years removed from line units will be asked for their resignations. They've already got their tickets punched for work with a defense contractor, I'd only be removing the dead weight.
Most full bird colonels can handle the duties of generals. I saw it when I was in. Shoot, as a Captain with about a year TIG, I was in an operations officer position that was slotted for an LTC. Reason I was put there was I was approached by my Battalion Commander...we left Germany about the same time. He was promoted to Colonel, and took over a directorate at Fort Bliss. I went to work for him after finishing the Captains course.
Besides, our leadership isn't focused on fighting the next war. Not when they're trying to procure fighter jets costing $500 million each, when you can get 100+ drones for less money.

I used to live both in NE PA and NJ. The number of former NYC people living in those areas would boggle your mind. Not to mention FL.
