That is still irrelevant. Tribe has his own liberally driven agenda. I had to read tons of his crap in law school and he can be boorish and dry and ideologically singular.

Tribe was one of Cruz’s law school professors and he did not teach Cruz everything that Cruz knows. That is a grossly inaccurate characterization of how law schools work. Cruz was a student with many professors - not Tribe’s apprentice.
When Cruz applied to clerk for conservative Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, he provided two references - one from his most liberal professor and one from his most conservative professor. Neither of them was named Tribe and Cruz landed one of the most prized position any young lawyer can get.

Derschowitz was also a Cruz law school teacher. Said he was the sharpest student he ever had.
I’m a Trump supporter, but Cruz is correct. And I think this is deliberate that this is explored now so it will not be a surprise topic in October with no time to flesh it out.
