Jeb thought all the other establishment candidates would drop out and they’re all splitting up the moderate pie.
Trump has scooped up the rest and Cruz is getting the conservatives.

I think that was the strategy with the GOPe running 42 candidates. Then Trump came along and upset their apple cart.
