Ted Cruz explains the non-story about his Goldman Sachs loan – [VIDEO]
The Right Scoop ^ | Jan 14, 2016 | The Right Scoop

When you’re at the top the attacks come at you from everywhere. In this case it was a NY Times article that, as Levin suggested last night, was fed to them by some Republican operative working for another campaign. But just like the Trump-ed up birther story, it’s another non-story.

Ted Cruz explains below:

Ted Cruz explains Goldman Sachs loan (Video)

It’s no surprise that Ted Cruz is actually human and makes errors like the rest of us. As he said, the loan against his assets has been disclosed in a variety of other ways so it’s not something he’s been trying to hide. And he’ll amend the filing to fix that should the reports be correct.

There is no conspiracy here. Cruz was going up against Dewhurst who was spending millions upon millions of dollars. It takes money to compete at this level and Cruz was certainly the underdog.

So as I said, nothing to see here. If this is all they have against Cruz, if this is all the dirt they can find on him, then this ‘smoking gun’ is nothing more than a broken water pistol.

Trump is anything but done.....he did surprisingly well in tonights debate, even when he was simmering underneath he did not get tangled up in his emotions and lash out in the usual fit we see....though it was funny watching him get knocked back off his feet for a moment or two.

What we're going to see more of is the establishment is going to get behind Trump because they know he's flexible and not grounded in the positions he now claims. On the other hand they will unleash the fires of hell on Cruz because he's a lethal threat to ‘their’ control of Washington.

There's a lot of corporations working with corrupt politicians who line each others pockets with vast sums of wealth “stolen” from the American people by their shenanigans. Cruz knows who they are and where they operate and how. Trump will be flexible in order to get the deals there are....including favors ....he knows HOW they play because he plays it too.

Update: Cruz Did In Fact Disclose the Goldman Sachs Loan
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3383599/posts?q=1&;page=151

I don’t know a thing about the kind of loan he had, but sphinx wrote ...

‘Per a Cruz video clip, it was a loan against his own brokerage account at Goldman Sachs. So: a loan against his own assets, not a loan from Goldman Sachs.’

Those are the kind of posts I respect. Well done, sphinx.

Now the only problem is perception — a misfiling or effort to hide how rich he was? I don’t know if there in fact was a filing error and how democrats could use it. Many Cruz critics wonder of course. The vetting continues.

‘...I think the point for each candidate should not be to show the flaws in the opponent ...’

We need our candidates vetted, but ...

I’m suspecting a pattern of ‘drive-by’ reports against Cruz and am very disappointed in Breitbart for the ‘driveby report’ that Cruz’ mother was registered to vote in Canada. Now settled that that it was just a census form, no evidence that she actively sought to be a voting Canadian. Breitbart caused a lot of needless discord and dishonor the patriot’s name.

Now for the ‘evil’ Trump.

Trump’s been thoroughly vetted at this point —

If there is any clue on earth that Trump is evil, Jeb Bush would had already exposed it by now. Easy these days to leak via proxy. Trump has destroyed the Bush Dynasty’s aura of power by hostile takeover.

Then there’s the ‘stream of consciousness’ open-book events. A super-villain doesn’t roll that way — too much to hide.

CLARIFICATION: In what is clearly a pre-meditated move (to give himself cover), Cruz did disclose the loan....BUT not on the FEC form required by law. Says he will now amend the FEC form.

Is this why?

The G/S loan is a bigger problem for Cruz than most candidates b/c of the way he/s structured his campaign.

He fashions himself a critic of big banks and Wall Street....says he/s just a Texas rube who/ll never have his name on a plane.

<><> But the whopper G/S loan makes him look like a
slick pol, a powermonger who/ll go against his own principles to get into office.

<><> The loan also reflects on Cruz/s eagerness to greatly expand H-1B visas.

UT OH--QUID PRO QUO LOOMS Goldman Sachs employs hundreds of H-1B visa holders. Cruz/s drumbeat for H-1B/s never mentions that he was on the hook to H-1B user Goldman for over a million.

FLIP FLOPPING AWAY Now, of course, Cruz wants to end H-1B visas. Maybe the terms of the loan have been amended?

Trump’s been thoroughly vetted at this point —

I seriously doubt that we know diddly about his dealings with the mob to buy peace in building a casino in Atlantic City.

If there is any clue on earth that Trump is evil, Jeb Bush would had already exposed it by now.

Not so sure about that. From what I've seen, his campaign is run by idiots.

Then there’s the ‘stream of consciousness’ open-book events. A super-villain doesn’t roll that way — too much to hide.

Trump has done plenty to discredit himself with inconsistencies, but he has the media to redirect scrutiny and a delusional fan base to defend him. LOOK, SQUIRREL!!!

That said, I was very disappointed with Cruz last night in his response to Cavuto about H-1B visas.

True Conservatives don’t accept loans from Liberal Brokerage Houses like Goldman Sachs where his wife is a Manager.
