Most people want to preserve their ethnic values and culture. In Alaska, you’ll have a White community and a separate Indian Village a couple miles apart. Everybody knows each other and get along just fine. They will attend public events together, kids in same school, but when it comes down to where you live; everybody stays with their own kind; no joke. Indians don’t want to completely lose their language, cultural identity, and become greedy White People. Whites don’t want all the alcohol problems and the social problems it entails in most Indian Villages. Some things will never change.
Well yes, some ethnio-centric values change.
All traditional cultures are disappearing...
Except islam.
its really funny because in general, blacks, whites, Asians, latinos all get along.....but throw in the gang culture violence and no amount of being nice is going to cover that.....
