Megyn Kelly asks Ted Cruz about Trump's New York Values.
Fox News ^ | January 13, 2016 | Youtube

Posted on 01/13/2016 8:09:12 AM PST by true believer forever

Skip to 4:40. Kelly asks Cruz about the push polls. She asks if his campaign had anything to do with them. He swivels, and then she reads from the Washington Examiner article about one of the questions in the push poll asking voters what they thought about Trump's liberal new york city values ... she then asks Cruz if that is why he made the statements throughout the day about Trump's values (notably on Howie Carr). Cruz keeps on the swivel and finally Kelly gives up.

She then asks him, "What are New York Values?"

Cruz replies: "The rest of the country knows what New York values are, and they aren't Iowa values and they aren't New Hampshire values."

Cruz would never win New York, so it’s votes are insignificant to him. Trump, on the other hand, has a fair shot at winning New York.

He’s right. What’s the problem?

Cruz like a wussy won't even attack Trump directly, but practically admits through his shuffling and evasion to using push polls to find attacks he thinks will "resonate" with voters. Megyn Kelly has to pull teeth in order to get Cruz to make his lame point attacking "New York values." Look at how stupid he is too to say that it isn't the values of "New Hampshire," even though NH is closer politically to New York than the Evangelicals of Iowa. It bespeaks how artificial Cruz's attack is.

Cruz seemed just fine with “New York City Values” when he was asking gay billionaires for money in NYC last year:

A few loud Trump supporters seem to be the only voices on these primary threads anymore. They’ve successfully chased everyone else off. lol

Gee, how many states besides Iowa has Trump called stupid.
You enjoyed that one.
We flyover republicans understood exactly what Cruz meant.
Also when I read the story it was one of Teddy’s PACS doing the polling. No I won’t do your homework.
Waiting, the carpet bombing of Trump is about to become fierce.

I notice when Cruz is asked a potentially uncomfortable question, he does a heh heh heh during the question—a subtle dismissive laugh. Asking for clarity on eligibility as a Canadian-born presidential candidate is an “attack”— my goodness! Can’t take the heat, stay out of the kitchen Ted.

I’ve never seen anyone have a conniption before but I think he may have just had one.

Cruz replies: "The rest of the country knows what New York values are, and they aren't Iowa values and they aren't New Hampshire values."

Wow... THAT is truly desparation!!!

How many of the 47 other states can Cruz insult???

I was really taken aback by his statement, but I really wasn't surprised. I think Cruz just telegraphed that he thinks he has a shot in IA or NH otherwise, he would have included SC in his list of acceptably moral states.

NY will vote for Trump regardless. Or they won’t regardless. Or are you suggesting the residents of Brooklyn have thin skin?

Cruz is a much better statesman than Trump. If I want a reality show Trump is the guy.

Trump and Ted are very thin skinned people. The difference is Trump lashes out, Ted feigns outrage.

I have no clue what you’re talking about! Cruz’s evasive and wimpy nature is on full display. The optics are not good for Teddy and I hope he keeps this stuff up!

I respectfully suggest Cruz will NOT win IA, WI, OH, NV, NH or CO in the general and will only get IA in the Primary.
Attacking NY is not helping him

This is hardly breaking news. Does not belong in breaking!

Well, I think it's breaking news when the high ground morals candidate finally let's it slip and reveals exactly how judgmental and sanctimonious he is. But that's just me.

Have a great day!
