I pray to God he never gets this position.
Secretaries General serve for five-year terms that can be renewed indefinitely, although none so far has held office for more than two terms.[7] The United Nations Charter provides for the Secretary-General to be appointed by the General Assembly upon the recommendation of the Security Council. As a result, the selection is subject to the veto of any of the five permanent Members of the Security Council. While the appointment and approval process of the Secretary-General is outlined in the UN Charter, specific guidelines have emerged regarding the term limits and selection process. These include a limit to two five-year terms, regional (continental) rotation of the appointee's national origin, and the appointee may not be a citizen of any of the Security Council's five permanent members.
LOL that would be such a pip! Could all the statutes he signed be declared Null and VOID????
Thanks for this!
As soon as he leaves the White House he will announce that he is eligible to be Sec Gen due to his birth in Kenya.
Wow. Interesting.
Well, there is a rumor going around that Mohammed Hussein Obama is buying a house in Dubai.
And-—Another free housing job!!!
obama is not liked. The UN pros will block him.
[a quote from a Netanyau aide who ostensibly told the Kuwaiti paper his boss exclaimed, “Obama is the worst president Israel has had to deal with and the worst president for the Middle East and its allies, the moderate Arab states.”]
And that would be accurate.
Been saying this, too, for a long time. For slightly different reasons.
A blast from the past (two months ago!)
Obama is addicted to power without responsibility.
Secretary-General of the UN is one such job.
Travel the world, say whatever you want, spend other peoples money.
Sounds like an Obama dream job
