Constitutional Cruz Control

There's more than meets the eye in the ongoing dustup over whether Ted Cruz is eligible to serve as president, which under the Constitution comes down to whether he's a "natural born citizen" despite his 1970 Canadian birth. Senator Cruz contends his eligibility is "settled" by naturalization laws Congress enacted long ago. But those laws didn't address, much less resolve, the matter of presidential eligibility, and no Supreme Court decision in the past two centuries has ever done so. In truth, the constitutional definition of a "natural born citizen" is completely unsettled, as the most careful scholarship on the question has concluded. Needless to say, Cruz would never take Donald Trump's advice to ask a court whether the Cruz definition is correct, because that would in effect confess doubt where Cruz claims there is certainty.

(Cruz argued 9 times before Supreme Court judges. Trump argues with beauty pageant judges.)

Well, last night a Trumpbot said he thinks Ted could be Muslim brotherhood, LOL.

Probably not but I don’t know for sure. I just posted the article. It’s pretty obvious Tribe is giving Cruz a hard time. I sense a real dislike.

Give a rest. I just saw Tribe on CNN (I’m watching the game too) and he said this article just went live.

So El Chapo has a kid with an American citizen. Is that kid eligible to be POTUD?

He certainly does to the CFG and Goldman Sachs, they're not funding his campaign without expecting something in return. After his vote for the corker bill, I would think he is potentially loyal to Iran and certainly obumber. After his efforts to get TPA through Congress, I would say again certainly obumber and Goldman Sachs. And with his support for amnesty definitely Mexico.

Yeah, I read that drivel. I am a Cruz supporter, but I do my best not to ingage in the ridiculousness, but that was just bizarre

Did Cruz beat Tribe in a case heard by the Supreme Court?

Actions speak louder then words. Cruz has definitely done more for obumber then for American. In fact, I think Cruz sold us out to obumber on TPA. And obumber does support the muslim brotherhood, as you know.

Love your tagline. Trump lost his argument with former beauty pageant judge, Rush Limbaugh, last month, and doesn’t seem to want to challenge him again.

That’s what you call hoisting someone by their own petard. Cruz the great constitutional originalist — unless it involves his own self-interest, in which case all of that is out the window in favor of a “living breathing constitution” that would allow a dual citizen to ascend to the Presidency. What a fraud!
