Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz suggested Monday that the only reason the GOP has chosen South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley to deliver the party's official response to President Obama's State of the Union address is because of her race.
"It's pretty clear that Nikki Haley is being chosen because the Republican Party has a diversity problem," the Florida Democrat said on a conference call previewing the speech, Politico reported.
"Haley's failed record gives her no credibility whatsoever," she said. "In fact it exemplifies exactly why the last thing we need is a Republican to make the same mistakes at the national level."
Republican National Committee spokesman Michael Short slammed Ms. Wasserman Schultz for the comments.

Haley paid her establishment dues by ripping down the Confederate flag from the Confederate Memorial, that’s why they picked her to deliver their response.
So she is basically saying the reason the dems are running and old white guy and an old white woman for Pres is because they are not racists. Ok, got it.
According to the Dems you are especially racist if you have people from other racial groups in your party because obviously you invited them in to cover you being racist....

The ‘RATS certainly doesn’t have a “fugly” problem. What the GOP does have is a RINO problem.
It’s such a huge problem that the Pubs took the Senate and increased their majority in the House, and control most of the states. The Debbie and the RATS (not a bad name for a punk band) would love such problems.

She really screwed up there, she should have said “We don’t burn our history down to ashes because it is uncomfortable , the flag stays”
Her misstep and capitulation is a sign of weakness for the wolves of the other side.
That’s funny considering all of the Democratic Candidates for President are ALL WHITE..while Republicans have a black man, two Hispanics, and a woman running
The Democrat Party has an ugly problem but I guess she’s right that there’s no Jewish poodles in the GOP.
If lack of diversity means we aren’t parading around a President elected via affirmative action or a President that has been accused of rape, she is correct.
Wasserman Schultz is speaking because Democrats have an IQ problem.

We need to play their game and demand Little Debby appologize for this. It’s sexist to insinuate Haley got the job because of her lady parts, and it’s down right insulting to the pres candidates.
DWS is nothing but an intolerant, hateful, twit. She keeps proving that every time she opens her mouth. The woman needs professional help.
After at least 20 or so years of practice, until Debbie can intelligently interpret, decipher and apply the seemingly simple directions on a do-it-yourself home permanent kit, I don’t see where I should listen to ANYTHING she has to say.
