I was thinking the same thing.
There seems to be many here that don't understand what is required to get to heaven. Being a bisexual, drug fiend, fornicating pervert, is not the usual first thing I think of about on the list. If you like his music, maybe you need to check your pulse before you die also. Jesus told us there would be fruit to judge. I don't need to be with him to hear his confession, but everyone can inspect his fruit. A Christian "rock star" is almost a contradiction unless he confesses Jesus on the stage. Did his music promote sex and drugs or holy living? ......I thought so.
Dying is not the only requirement to get to heaven. We all die unless Jesus comes first. It might be time for some to find out the Gospel before that happens. If we are held to account for every "idle" word, it might be to our advantage to find out how to get a blood covering before it's needed. It's not about what you do, but who you know? If he knew Jesus, it most likely would have come out in public at some point. Generally, your life would reflect it.
The movie star Steve McQueen become born again right before he died of cancer.
You’re the worst kind of hedonist. You believe in something only because it makes you feel good to believe it.
I seem to remember “let he who is without sin cast the first stone” from my Bible study.
His wife announced his death with these words: “the struggle is real, and so is God. Rise.”
For such a strongly religious person perhaps some quiet prayer for the soul of the dead would by more appropriate than speculation on the state of his immortal soul.
