If you go to the story, look to the right and notice that 2 Submarine CO’s were also ‘fired’..

Is this a purge or ????

Either way, with the unusual amount of ‘firings’ of CO’s and Flag Officers, something must be terribly amiss in the selection committee process.

I can see one or two maybe slipping through but not one every month or so.

Usually these little ‘shortcomings’ are discovered when they are JO’s....

I live within a hundred miles of Washington DC with some government types (I am a government employee myself, one of two jobs) and I’ve run across some military people who have issues like me, I call myself a ‘drunk currently sober’.

I could say based on my experiences with these folks that our military has issues in it ranging from drugs to alcohol to porn-sexual issues etc. etc. etc.

Obama doesn’t help morale, that’s for sure and low morale probably drives some of our people in uniform to bad decisions to intoxicate themselves with overspending, overdrinking, over the top sexual activity etc.

But there are rules and consequences for the wrong kinds of activity and some military people luck out and others face strong disciplinary action.

Maybe they were but ignored because of 9/11 and the need for trained officers but now with the downsizing of military forces the files on these people can be reviewed and action taken.

That’s my sense based on my acquaintance with military people in recent years.

This is going on all over the place. Our local Marine base is on its 3 commanding officer in the past year. Last two were fired for similarly “failing to inspire confidence.” I have been assuming that they made the mistake of questioning the pro-homosexual stuff.

For a while FR had a resident apologist for Obutthole's firing of top officers, saying it was done all the time, he was doing nothing out of the ordinary.

Dunno what happened to that clown.
