If intelligence agencies were aware of it they may have deliberately looked the other way. If there were reports to the police they should have passed it up to their superiors and it should have gotten up to the highest levels of government. But since some of the women complained that they could not find police, I suspect that Merkle sent a message down the line telling them the police to keep a low profile so that there would not be as many reports to the police. Judging from the hostile dictatorial way she has been acting toward her own people calling them far right wingers if they dare to complain about the invasion, I would not be surprised if she tried to minimize any crimes that could have taken place. The German government as well as the Dutch, Swedish, and English governments have been pushing down on their population. These countries have been going full Soviet Union suppressing the free speech rights of their citizens.
Merkle and her party is definitely going to lose “the women’s vote”.
