Gary Condit accused of lying during trial for man convicted of murdering his former lover Chandra Levy
A lawyer for a man convicted of killing Washington intern Chandra Levy said on Friday that former California Congressman Gary Condit, who was romantically linked to Levy, misled the jury when he testified during the man's trial.
Ingmar Guandique's attorney Eugene Ohm made the allegation during a court hearing ahead of Guandique's scheduled March re-trial.
Ohm said that notes of an interview that authorities did with Condit after Levy's disappearance show that Condit, a Democrat who served in Congress from 1989 to 2003, misled the jury when he testified in 2010.

She had a bruise and a scratch to the back of the head and a fracture of the skull from the right to the left of the front of the head.Lori Klausutis sounds like she was a wonderful woman.Joe Scarborough was across country at the time of her death.
I think that Condit had an injury around that time. I don’t remember what it was, but it may have involved his hand(s).

Not surprising actually. Her story got out PRIOR to the Clintons knowing about it...at which point it was simply too late for her to ‘have an accident’. I suspect that Conduit figured Levy was getting ready to blow it open, but if he hurried, he could ‘make it go away’. Terrible for her, but good that it’s still not ‘going away’.

Interesting! So was Vincent Foster's body: July 20, 1993 in Fort Marcy Park, McLean, VA.
Some other important events which also occurred on July 20 (not a complete list):
1944: Failed assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler by a group of German officers. (Hitler was injured but not fatally.)
1969: First manned moon landing. (That was also the day after the death of Mary Jo Kopechne at Chappaquiddick.)
