I know, quite well, a fellow who was born and raised in East Germany. In his mid-20’s he escaped in a hidden compartment of a modified vehicle; months in the planning. In West Germany, where he still lives, he became a cardiologist. IOW, an intelligent and resourceful person. He loved obama and Merkel. Go figure.
