WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Barack Obama said on Thursday that he will not campaign for Democrats who don’t back gun reforms, part of his effort to make tougher gun laws a cause in the November 2016 presidential and congressional elections.
“I will not campaign for, vote for or support any candidate, even in my own party, who does not support common-sense gun reform,†Obama wrote in an op-ed column in the New York Times.
“All of us need to demand leaders brave enough to stand up to the gun lobby’s lies,†Obama wrote. “All of us need to demand that governors, mayors and our representatives in Congress do their part.â€

The only places where Obama would help the Dem candidate are those districts, with a heave Black majority, where the Dem will already get 80% of the vote.

Accuracy? Muzzle velocity? Why is it that leftists get to define the meaning of the word “reforms”?
All the millions of people who bought all the millions of guns the last several years didn’t buy them to have them restricted or taken away. And all the millions who bought these guns were not just right wing clingers either.
There is only one surefire way to advance gun control and that is to elect democrats.
Therein lies the problem, why the Bolshies do not oppose ObOzO will doom them to ash heap.

I see a lot of democrats opposing these new gun regulations. I wouldn’t believe a democrat or most Republicans regardless of what they say, obama is only doing and saying this to help the d’s protect what they have by giving him a reason to not campaign for them.
Given his premises, we need to also reform swimming pools, pillows, high rise buildings, tall bridges, rope, knives, plastic bags, fire, large bodies of water, gas, garages where dangerous cars can become weapons of death, airplanes, etc.
Of course if he really cared about lives and risks, he would not be ignoring the social media of incoming foreigners who have long histories of devotion to terrorism.

Threatening to NOT campaign for a competitive Rat has got to be music to their ears.
I bet a lot of democrats will take him up on that offer but not in the ways he expects.
Not having his endorsement will be the ultimate endorsement in fall 2016.
