I didn’t see any malicious gloating statement, either. Some people just believe what they want to, regardless of fact.

Saw nothing in the article saying he was “happy” or “gloating.”

Now there you go messing up Yahoo’s narrative by actually reading the story! *Sheesh*! ;-)

Gloating over large job cuts. The Donald is one classy guy.

I don't see gloating and I can't imagine that anything Trump said had anything to so with any job cuts by anyone.... because job cuts have strictly to do with disposable income and where people wish to spend it. If I have $1,000 to spend at Christmas, I could to choose to spend at Macys..... that means some other store doesn't get my $1,000. Or I could spend it at the 'other store' in which case Macys does get it. If on a grander scale that meant that Macys had to layoff employees, that means that the other store didn't.... and vice versa. I makes zero difference in the grand scheme of things.

Macy’s is going out of business for the same reason most business’ go under, a poor business model. They have crappy inventory, unattractive and way overpriced. You can shop at about the same price for better stuff at Nordstroms.

BTW the CEO of Macy’s was one of Trump’s closest personal friends. I believe that when he turned on Trump it was very hurtful to him personally. He could have just been loyal and it would have turned out no differently. When you run for President I guess you find out who your real friends are.

Obviously you don't want to share who YOUR candidate is while you trash Cruz & Trump.

Why? ...I have no idea.

I'll stop asking and just move on.

What...you’re not blaming the guy with the funny do for someone else’s failures? Apparently since everything is so PC the concept of competition has been totally lost!

It’s a sin to gloat. But what does the Bible say about chuckling? Is guffawing a sin? I need to know.

What about active duty military members “working for/sustaining” the sodomite culture and “leftist” idealism running rampant through all the Federal agencies/the nation itself? Do they deserve “what they get”?

I miss interpreted your post to Sandrat.

That was him trashing Trump supporters, not you.

Trump's your man.

Seems your biggest problem with Cruz is him invoking religion into his campaign.

Not an issue for me.

Do you if/when/where Trump comes to Texas?

“...we’d better figure it out fast or it’ll be 2008 (and worse) really soon. Toss in the uncertainty of the coming US election and by October, the economy may just hand the election to Trump. “

We can only hope! I’d be willing to undergo another 2008 if it put the final nails in Hillary’s (and the RAT Party’s) coffin and got Trump/Cruz into the White House! NO pain, NO gain!

The assumption is that all Trump supporters and those not in bed with Ted are dumber than rocks. We are so dumb, we can not read an article ourselves to counter the lawyerese bs aka lies.

The Cruz supporters here on FR are panicked and like a cornered animal they are getting meaner. My god, you would have though Trump was killing and eating puppies in front of girl scouts reading their posts after Trump said Cruz should clear-up the citizen questions now rather then waiting for the dems to bring it to court.

Many not all are like the left wing mediots whenever Trump skewers one of their pet PC items. They go crazy and give Donald free publicity and make us support him even more.

Bless the Cruz supporters, who do not go nuclear like N Korea whenever something this is posted. That helps all of us to learn.

What about individuals who declare bankruptcy ?

That's different set of laws and regulations. See the section titled Modern Law and Debt Restructuring, and the section titled "United States", which lists 6 distinct types of bankruptcy proceedings.

Personal bankruptcy is usually types Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. The type Trump used was not personal bankruptcy, but rather Chapter 11.

Chapter 11, also known as orporate bankruptcy, is defined as rehabilitation or reorganisation primarily used by businessed with unmanageable debt (sometimes allowed for individuals with substantial debts and assets). Chapter 11 permits a corporation to legally reorganize its financial structure, typically to allow a company to continue to function while it follows a court-approved debt repayment plan.
