No passport, no flight: Driver's licenses from five states will no longer be valid to board a domestic plane under law cracking down on terrorists and criminals accessing fake IDs
Fliers from five non-compliant states in America will soon not be able to use their driver's license to board domestic flights.
The ruling, which comes under the Real ID Act passed 10 years ago, is down to states not complying to the stricter standards for state-issued IDs given by the government.
Fewer than half (22) of the states have complied with the recent law, and while the other states are pending review, five states - Illinois; Minnesota; Missouri; New Mexico and Washington - have been deemed non-compliant, with no review pending.

They’re also going to revoke your passport if you owe more than $50,000 to the IRS.
Nothing like an internal passport. Meanwhile borders are wide open.
Neither the article nor the Wiki related to the Real ID Act says anything about Biometric Identification.
Remember when they met resistance from the public about Biometric Identification? Mark of the Beast?

That is interesting because all of the hassle they gave me when I moved to the state. Americans have to show three proofs of residency, meanwhile the Mexican line moves twice as fast with almost all of them turning in an Oregon license for a Washington license.
I understand even the Frito Bandito had no problem getting a quick ID card.

The feds are going after Missouri since their Republican legislature has successfully prevented illegal mexicans and more from obtaining drivers licenses. You have to present a birth certificate in Missouri to get a drivers license. Missouri has done what Arizona tried but failed to accomplish and the obama admin sees a way around Misouri’s laws. That is the real reason the admin is pushing their bogus rules.
I got one of those new “enhanced” driver’s license so I could get on a military base (getting a passport would have taken too long).
I wonder if the enhanced ones will be okay? Or how about my concealed carry permit?
