some filing dates have passed as well. Now i’m sure some states would find a loophole but others are firmly in Republican hands and they would have no reason to let someone else on the ballot after the dates passed.
Theres also the image problem. The Dem party going against the female candidate? Can you imagine how hard and heavy the woman card gets played at that point? I’d guess that would bring out new voters who weren’t happy with her but also turn off plenty of women voters.
