Rubio’s Foreign-Policy Proposals Recall Bush’s Second Term
National review ^ | January 5, 2015 | Christian Whiton

Marco Rubio appears to believe that Republicans yearn for George W. Bush’s second-term foreign policy. Such is the implication of his recent attacks on Ted Cruz, as well as his foreign-policy positions over the past five years. Rubio and his surrogates’ chief grievance against Cruz is that he advocates caution in using our military to try to implant or impose democracy abroad. Indeed, Cruz is guilty as charged — thankfully — preferring to target ISIS while avoiding quagmires.

As I stated before, Rubio is the Dauphin with better packaging. No thanks Rubio. I think he has to be the most unoriginal boilerplate thinker in the GOP field.

You mean the second W term where Bush finished at 27% approval

Rubio's "accomplishments" dwarf only those of Hillary - absolutely nothing! Of course, if he showed up for a vote or hearing once in a while that "might" help.

I've read that the only reason Rubio is polling as he is are the moronic, lovesick women who think he is handsome.

I keep asking myself “why on earth is anyone paying attention to this high-school kid?”

then i realize I know the answer... he is the establishment choice if Yeb! fails, and will do their bidding.

I am scared to death for the safety of Donald Trump and I think we all need to keep a sharp eye out for any funny business.

I saw an infomercial for Yeb! last night at 2AM (!!!) and it was long and boring and stupid and aired in the middle of the night- when no one is watching- this guy is dumber than a post.

I’ve been a lonely Rubio supporter on this board but his foreign policy positions have been discredited. I’m now leaning towards Cruz.

I used to like Rubio a lot on foreign policy, but he loses me with his position that Putin is a greater threat than what’s occurring with ISIS and the new dictatorship from Turkey.
