Cuomoâs homelessness order deepened the chill between him and Mayor de Blasio Sunday, with the mayorâs office charging Cuomo lacks the power to impose the mandate.
"We support the intent of the Executive Order, but to forcibly remove all homeless individuals in freezing weather, as the Governor has ordered, will require him to pass state law," de Blasio spokeswoman Karen Hinton said as Cuomo inked the order requiring people to go to shelters when temperatures are below 32 degrees.
"This Executive Order adds no legal or financial resources to New York City's programs to assist the homeless, and merely requires all New York State localities follow many of the same requirements as New York City to shelter families and individuals in need in freezing temperatures."
Cuomoâs office says he already has the authority under the stateâs mental hygiene law.

“Just send the homeless to KKKalifornia. They would welcome them with open arms.”

Awww, come on. What are you a racist or something? They would love San Diego. Always warm, no need for winter clothes which empties half their shopping cart. They can use the other half to pick up all the bottles and cans the “liberals” toss on the ground.
