Should pick another date for the UDI —Like April 1st.
Good luck good people! I should be there with you all.
“Such as in the case of the fire fee (tax) imposed on those in many of the rural counties, authored by a Southern California lawmaker, whose constituents are not required to pay.”
What a scam that is! Before this happened I paid and joined a fire prevention group, but that doesn’t matater. I sold my home July of 2012. I was still paying this thing Jan. 2014! YES, they keep collecting from the old owner..it’s a bunch of crappola.
“I understand that some southern rural Oregon counties would also like to be included in the State of Jefferson.”
The socialists in this area will never allow it.
Now, if only rural Illinois, Upstate NY, and a few others could separate from their dirtbag cities, maybe we’d have something.
Kinda figures that Nevada County isn’t on this list.
The San Francisco Liberals have invaded that county in droves. Was the main reason I moved out in Dec 2004.
They were buying rural properties where we could have horses & then bitching about the animals all around them. Some even DEMANDED that all the wild animals be REMOVED from their areas ‘because of the danger’. One person had a complete hissy fit that the 650 acre winery on Indian Springs Road near McCourtny Rd stop spraying their vineyards from an airplane. I told her to spend the day away from home shopping & going to a LONG movie. That is just one example.
They kept letting their cats & small dogs stay out all hours of the day & night and such critters became coyote bait. So—they wanted the coyotes removed....!!!
Not 3 brain cells of sense in the whole group.
I don’t miss a single one of them.
Will the socialists allow a republican to be elected President in 2016?
The fight has to begin somewhere, somehow, sounds like you've given up.
“The fight has to begin somewhere, somehow, sounds like you’ve given up.”
Oh, stop. I’ve been involved in this State of Jefferson move for decades. What have YOU done? But I KNOW the socialists of Oregon...it’s NOT going to happen. We can’t even elect a republican for anything and when we do we get a traitor like Greg Walden, who scores WORST at 47 on the ‘conservative’ scale of Heritage.
I'm back up in my home state of Washington doing what I can to thwart the liberals.
Good luck and keep up the good fight!
Any talk of granting Puerto Rico statehood can only help the effort. Statehood fever is breaking out all over.
Pretty much that day. But the dream never died.
I guess it's kind of a generic symbol, but the double-X was used in The Great Dictator, Charlie Chaplin's satire of Hitler and Nazi Germany. I'll refrain from posting any pictures.
You mean like this?
Lord o' mercy. I expected to get SOME pushback, but this I have to admit is unexpected.
I'll refrain from posting my real thoughts.
The California legislature will never allow this. Nor, I suspect, would Congress, should it get to them.
If it was a blue Jeep, it was probably mine.
I'm from the South but have always been fascinated by California geography, mountains, deserts and history. Thanks
Roughly all of Kern, Mono and Inyo counties, and those portions of Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside counties which are east of the mountain range.
Thank you. Now I have some reference points as I look at Google maps.
