That’s good, especially if you feel like you’ve learned that from the Lord, because then you’ve got a solid grip on God’s truth that man can’t shake.

Now, as God leads you, look at Revelation 4:1. Remember, the Book of Revelation is a prophecy (Rev 21:18-19) so what happens to John in Rev 4:1 is a prophetic picture of the church. Check it out. The voice he hears is “as a trumpet”. As you know, we will be caught up to the Lord “with the trump of God” (I Thess 4:16-17). Before Rev 4:1 the church is seen on earth. After Rev 4:1 the church is only seen in heaven (Jews who later who become believers are initially still on the earth (Rev 7)).

I plan someday to write a book about Matthew 24 and Revelation for the exhortation, edification, and comfort of God’s people and also the Jews who need it now and will need it after we’re gone (because it will be their seventieth week - they will be saved but in the midst of great tribulation).

Yep- it’s going to be something- Can’t even begin to imagine how rough it’s going to be for them

I did read the left behind series, which if course is fiction, but it was kind of an insight into what things ‘could be like’ during htat time period- and he paints a scenario of some folsk who are rich, getting saved during this time, and coming to the help of God’s people, and running underground operations to help the people etc- I hope for the Jew’s sake and Christians saved during this time that something like this happens

I also watched a history channel or discovery channel show/movie about the end times- and I thought going in that it was going to be so far off the mark that it would be totally false, but I have to give them credit= they stayed true pretty much to the word of God, and just did some scenarios ‘which could happen/play out’ during the end times- it was a very interesting watch- Of course they were off on some things, but not grossly so- Not that I follow John Hagee- but he was the one who put the show together or worked n it or something- and Hagee is big into end times- I don’t necessarily agree with everything he says, but some of what he says is pretty solid biblically-

It describes how the media will likely lie about the supernatural events taking place, how the government will lie about a ‘safe city’ where people can go to for fuel, electricity, etc etc etc and how in order to get in they will need to take them ark of the beast- etc And how the prohpets of God will be supernaturally protectec in those days etc

It was actually kinda neat seeing a scenario that shows how things ‘might happen’ when the world starts to fall apart I n the end times- They also did a good job depicting the trumpet sounds before every judgement- an how the world would hear it- everyone would hear it-

Anyway- just keep in mind that it’s a history channel show and there will be some error- even the left behind series contains some likely, but it was just kinda neat seeing a visual portrayal for how things might develop- her’s a youtube link if you want to watch it
