Hillary isn't doing to well with her attack.

In case you didn't notice, Bubba's legacy is "I did not have sex with that woman" and my wife knew all about it. After all, Monica wasn't my first adventure.

He had to do business.

Boy is that a BS answer. If Cruz was to say I had to back this POS bill so I could get another bill I wanted passed, would that be acceptable? Trump has already intimated that he would work with GOPe and that Cruz won't.

I don't trust Trump on anything, except that he's for Trump.

He also likes to win.

So there's that.

You didn’t answer the question, but that’s ok.

He doesn’t have a liberal position. He’s growing, which is what one would expect of a convert. Some missteps, some clinging to old ideas, and some new insights.

This makes him far better than Rubio, Bush, Christie, Fiorina, Kasich, Pataki, Gilmore,

Cruz is a more consistent life long conservative.

Carson is also a convert, iirc. Paul is a libertarian republican. Huckabee is a big government social & defense conservative.

I was just being sarcastic. But that response is inevitable.

He had to conduct business in his home state where people are dumb enough to vote the lyin witch into office. He has to play nice with the devils that sit in high office in this state. He’s no dummy, he wasn’t going to insult a sitting senator that can make trouble for him.

You may be going a little too far with that statement.

The Trump Organization does business all across the country, and around the world. A lot of his value is tied up in his brand, which he licenses to developers in places like the Florida, or Nevada, UK or Asia or Dubai or Istanbul. A lot of the properties that you see his name on have nothing to do with him at this point. A lot of the properties he owns in NY are like the top of the line sports car GM builds to build prestige. The real money is in the camery. He is a genius in that respect.

You'd think that all the bigmouths on this site would know "a little thing" like that...

I really want to believe in him, but he could turn out to be like one of Siegfried and Roy's "cute" tigers.

Donald Trump praised Hillary Clinton during the 2008 Democratic presidential primary, saying that she would make a "great president."

So what, members of Maine State Militia supported and voted for Bruce Poliquin, we all make mistakes, especially when it come sot politics.

Donald was wrong, but so were we who bought into the Bruce Poliquin line of bull shit communism.

Since we don’t know if Trump was trying to do business with someone close to the clintons at the time, we cannot judge whether he said this truthfully or was blowing smoke up her skirt to help a business deal. And it’s not important enough to try to find out.

Did he mean it? If he does, then why is he running against her.

Because he thinks he could be even greater?

Just because one thinks another would be good at a job is no reason to not still compete for it.

OMG! That is amazing.

What did Trump say about John McCain?

Did he ever express an opinion on the New Coke?

And did he think the Yankees had a chance that year, or was his money on the Dodgers?

“Trump has already intimated that he would work with GOPe and that Cruz won’t. “

So minus the Democrats, and the GOPE, you have about....10 people in congress.

So did Cruz happen to expand on how he plans on doing ANYTHING?

The Senator that cant clob together 10 votes for his bills?

Because the Conservative Purists are scared.

More scared of Trump than of Hillary or the commie (but I repeat myself)?

He doesn’t have a liberal position. He’s growing, which is what one would expect of a convert. Some missteps, some clinging to old ideas, and some new insights.

Here's what I think really happened:

Donald Trump is a very intelligent man. He looked at the Republican playing field in 2011 and thought to himself "Hey, I can beat these guys." So he decided to start moving right and exploring a presidential run.

Then, even he realized, that he didn't have enough credibility to do it right then and there (my opinion is that he probably would have won anyway). Luckily for him, Grete van Sustren gave him an open invite any time for the next four years.

Is he a conservative, or some sort of conservative acolyte? I sincerely doubt it. Does he support enough conservative positions? I suppose so. I have my doubts on several issues.

Would he be better than Hillary Clinton? Of course.

Can he win? Absolutely.

But, no, don't get ahead of yourself or think that he suddenly saw the light on anything. Donald Trump loves this country, but he believes first, foremost, and forever in Donald Trump. It just so happens that our goals may align at this moment in history.
