a co-workers wife came into the office and sat across from me (6-8 feet away) and ‘popped a boob’ to feed their kid. she noticed i was averting my eyes (she was literally in my line of sight as she was sitting behind and to the right of my monitor)

it gave her a tickle to see i was trying to avoid looking while also trying to do my work.

when she said “it’s perfectly natural” to me, i said “yes they are, obviously.”

sorry. get some class. not everyone wants to join you in the trailer park.

Honestly she should have found another place to sit. Even if she had not been breastfeeding her child. A baby in the workplace is a distraction. It was rude of her not to make an effort to make sure you were able to continue working. It was inappropriate for her to draw attention to the fact you were not at ease with her nursing nearby.

Finding a quiet corner or area to nurse your baby is not the same thing as having to retreat to a filthy bathroom. She was in the wrong.
